The Soldering Iron gas soldering iron is a handy portable soldering iron. It is refueled from a standard common household gas can for lighters. The distinctive feature of this device is the ability to work in three different modes thanks to interchangeable attachments - soldering iron, hair dryer and gas burner - and all this in camping conditions without power supply!
The kit includes two nozzle attachments that turn a regular gas torch into a soldering iron or hair dryer:
- Soldering iron nozzle. It knocks down the flame and heats up against it. The temperature depends on the strength of the flame.
- Hair dryer nozzle. Knocks down the flame and the output is already burning air, not fire. The temperature also depends on the flame force regulator.
The strength of the flame (temperature) is regulated by a special regulator.
Important! When using nozzles (mode - hair dryer or soldering iron), you need to properly turn on the heating. This is done with the installed nozzle - hair dryer, ignite the flame through the side opening, regulate the weak gas, wait 10 seconds, while the inner ceramic grid will turn red. Then briefly close the gas supply and gently open it again. The flame should then go out, but heat will continue to flow from the nozzle without flame. After that you can use the device as a hair dryer or as a soldering iron, having previously screwed on the stinger.
