Connecting headphones for the first time:

• Take the headphones out of the dock, they will automatically turn on
• Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and find the right earphone in the list, connect to it. The left earpiece will automatically connect to the right earpiece.
• Return the headphones to the dock and the red light will turn on and the connection will be disconnected. When you remove them again, the white light will illuminate and the connection will be restored.
